About Us

Welcome to [Sound by Design]

We are a group of students studying Product Design at the University of Dundee aiming to find new and innovative ways to create meaningful interactions with sound.

Meet the people involved:

John Thomson: Likes clean designs that are user-friendly and minimalistic. Interested in the possibilities of combining creative art with innovative technology.

Lynsey Brownlow: Likes conceptual designs that intuitively intrigue the user and are fun!

James Rice: Likes to create simple, clean designs. Interested in the “without thought” design philosophy.

    Hi Sound By Design Guys,

I came across your project of sculpting with sound project and thought it was great! I am a site manager at Instructables.com and wanted to give you a shout out. We recently launched our Make It Real Challenge and we’re giving away over $100k in 3D printers. We’d love to see you share your project on Instructables. I think it would be a big hit with our audience

I would be happy to feature it on our site if you decide to post the instructions there and help get it noticed among our 13.8 million visitors. Let me know if you have any questions!
